FoREfront research project focuses on topics regarding sustainability and resilience in building and housing systems.

Empirically, residential building and housing are examined from the perspectives of both new and renovation construction, as well as nature-based solutions (green roofs and facades etc).

The project is conducted in close cooperation with case companies that offer product-service packages for sustainable residential construction and living, and Finnish carbon neutrality pioneer case cities, as well as residents.
