FoREfront

About

The project’s main objective is to provide knowledge about how firms, cities and citizens, as active stakeholders, can influence the reduction of carbon footprint and enhance local resilience in building and housing systems. In addition, the project examines which factors promote and prevent the introduction of new bio-circular economy service and product solutions that enable self-sufficiency and resilience.

The project is conducted in close cooperation with case companies that offer product-service packages for sustainable residential construction and living, and Finnish carbon neutrality pioneer case cities, as well as residents.
